Weeksina unispina
Weeks Formation
Millard County, UT
Cambrian

Here is a very rare and well preserved trilobite that is not well recognized by collectors worldwide. This trilobite, Weeksina unispina, is often confused with the common Cedaria since the spine coming off the axial ring may be missing or break off in the counterpart split or confused with the equally rare, but more often found Genevievella. Named after the Weeks Formation, this trilobite is a very hard one to find for the collector. This great specimen is one of the largest I have seen measuring 1/2" long.
