Here is an outstanding example of an extremely rare and undescribed trilobite from the upper layers of the Weeks Formation. This new genus/species of trilobite is so rare that parts of this trilobite have not been found and the leading scientists have no clue to what genus or species to classify this trilobite. The other thing that makes it so unusual is the size of this trilobite; it measures a full 2 1/16" long. That makes it one of the largest trilobites found in the Weeks Formation.
