Tricrepicephalus texanusWeeks FormationMillard County, UTCambrianHere is a beautifully preserved specimen of a rare Tricrepicephalus texanus. This specimen was one of the very first trilobites I ever found in the Weeks Formation of Utah. It was found about 9 years ago and measures almost 1 1/4" long. Its black shell and almost perfect articulation makes this a true collector's piece. This is a superb specimen!!

Tricrepicephalus sp.Weeks FormationMillard County, UT
CambrianHere is an extremely rare type of Tricrepicephalus from an unusual locality in the Weeks Formation. It was identified by Dr. Richard Robison 6 years ago as a new species of Tricrepicephalus based on the genal spine length and the short spines emanating from the pygidium. To his knowledge and mine, this is the only complete specimen known. This great specimen measures 1 1/2" long.
