Proetus channahonensisWabash FormationWayne County, INSilurianHere is a very uncommon Proetid from the dolomitic outcrops of Indiana. This trilobite, Proetus channahonensis, is found localized in a small outcrop in eastern Indiana. Even though the preservation is not the best, it is truly a unique find from Indiana. The head is slightly arched over, but you can still see the characteristics associated with Proetids. This trilobites measures 5/8" long.
