CambrianHere is an outstanding specimen of an extremely rare Norwoodia bellaspina. Only a handful of specimens have ever been found this well preserved. It was found by my father 11 years ago on our very first trip to the Weeks Formation and ranks as one of my favorite trilobites in my collection. It measures a little over 1/2" long.

Here is a beautifully enrolled specimen of an extremely rare Norwoodia bellaspina. This is the only specimen of this genus that I know of, that has been found in the enrolled position. It measures 5/8" long and 1/2" wide. All spines are well displayed and the trilobite most certainly is in a defense mode. Strangely beautiful!!
