Here is another extremely rare trilobite from the Weeks Formation that is simply never seen. This trilobite, Norwoodella sp., was unknown from the Weeks Formation until Dr. Richard Robison identified this one about 5 years ago. It is characterized by very small eyes and a robust cephalon. This trilobite, although having a slightly disarticulated cephalon, is extremely 3-D and very well preserved. It measures 1/2" long.
