Here is a rare trilobite found in only a few certain layers of the Weeks Formation. This trilobite, Nephalicephalus beebei , distinguishable characteristic is the large number of segments that the trilobite has and the extremely small pygidium, which is on this trilobite and tucked under.  This trilobite was found by my father on the very last day we were collecting at the Weeks Formation. This trilobite is extremely 3-D, has outstanding preservation, and measures almost 1" long.

It main characteristic is the slender body containing numerous segments. The outstanding specimen measures 3/8" long and found in association with a molt of a Cedaria minor.
