Modocia weeksensis (type 3)Weeks FormationMillard County, UT
CambrianHere is the only known complete specimen of Modocia weeksensis (type 3) known from the Weeks Formation. This trilobite has small nodes running down all the axial rings of the trilobite and has longer genal spines than the typical Modocia weeksensis (type 1). This trilobite is very similar to the Modocia sp. that is found out of the Marjum Formation. This trilobite is extremely well preserved and measures 1 1/4" long.
