Here is an extremely rare crinoid from the Waldron Shale Formation. This crinoid, Lobomelocrinus obconicus, was recently re-described in the Journal of Paleontology. Its very ornate plate structure makes it one of the more beautiful crinoids found in the Waldron Shale. The cup measures 1" long.
