SilurianHere is an extremely rare trilobite from the Silurian of Indiana. This trilobite, Encrinurus ornatus, may be the only complete trilobite of its kind known from Indiana. Even though the cephalon is slightly torqued, it is a very ornate and unique trilobite. The main characteristic is the two stalked eyes and ornamental pygidium makes it one of the most beautiful of the Encrinurides to be found. This outstanding specimen measures 1 1/4" long.
