Ditomopyge olsoniStaunton FormationWarren County, IN
PennsylvanianHere is one of the rarest Indiana trilobite pieces in my collection. It is a cluster of 6 Ditomopyge olsoni trilobites that looks like they are escaping from some sort of predator. The trilobites are also lined up in size, from the smallest in the upper right hand corner to the largest which is found at the bottom of the slab. There are two trilobites actually laying on top of each other was well. The trilobites measure from 3/4" long to 1/4" long. Unfortunately, the site were these were found is no longer accessible for collecting.
