Here is an extremely large example of a very rare trilobite from the Dillsboro Formation of southern Indiana. This trilobite, Allolichas halli, is one of the most sought after Ordovician trilobites in the United States. This outstanding trilobite measures 2 7/8" long and is has great shell preservation. What makes this trilobites all the more interesting is the 2 bite marks on the left and right hand side in the middle pleural area. This has to be one of the largest Allolichas ever found.
