Here is a rare crinoid from the Waldron Shale Formation of southern Indiana. This very strange crinoid, Alisocrinus carleyi, is hardly ever seen from the Waldron Shale. This outstanding crinoid cup measures only 3/8" long, but is easily seen due to the cup's ornate structure
